What a Level 3 Beauty Qualification Lets You Study Next
The route from where you are to skin treatments
A Level 3 beauty qualification is the usual starting point for skin treatment training, but not every Level 3 certificate looks the same. Here is how to read yours.
Look for anatomy and physiology
The Level 6 courses ask for Level 3 beauty therapy, or equivalent, that includes anatomy and physiology. If yours does not, a Level 3 anatomy and physiology certificate fills the gap, and it can be studied fully online.
Level 4 skin rejuvenation
This course asks for a recognised Level 3 beauty or aesthetics qualification. It covers microneedling, chemical peels, skin analysis and treatment planning, with practical sessions on live models.
Level 6 peels and needling
These suit therapists who want to offer advanced peels or advanced skin needling. Both state their entry requirements clearly, so you can check them before you book.
